10 second turn NPC
« on: July 08, 2012, 01:48:18 pm »

i was making slaved near in an encounter there was a bugged NPC, he was just stayng there and waiting for his turn to expire
also, other day got ampushed by a pack of golden geckos, i fended them off but i had to wait for the geckoes outside the circle near me to finish there turn, they were just stayng there

i sugest to make NPC turn be only 10 or 5 seconds, not 30 like players have

On top of that I would suggest that players who logged off during an encounter don't get a turn for as long as they're logged off.

This would be good cause some encounter NPC's just stand there. (80's, and some other encounters with spears)

Massive support, NPCs don't need more than 10 seconds.

That's probably not possible since they're "still there".

Well to be fair, it's useful to give a chance to reconnect. Also when connection is waiting for timeout (in case the user did not log out), it's just not possible to know whether the guy is really off.

No idea if it's possible or not. I think it is. Status off should be enough.
Reason can't be known, but the time someone is logged off can.
I entered encounters from the same player several times yesterday as we were hunting in the same square. A few times he was logged off and I had to sit out 2 or 3 his turns. Very annoying.
