Incendiary Rockets

I would like to suggest the introduction of Incendiary Rockets into Fonline. They could be made of rotgut/flamer fuel and metal parts.

I have 2 ideas regarding IR's regarding their stats;

Idea 1; they will have AC=0, DR=0, DAMOD=1/1 (same as explosive rocket)

Against most armors IR's would do more damage then explosive rockets, but less then AP rockets. The exceptions would be against BA and CLJ which it would score less damage then the 2 exsisting rockets. Versus LA and LAMKII it would do identical explosive rockets damage.

Idea 2; they will have AC=-20, DR=+25, DAMOD=2/1 (same as fuel, but twice the damage)

Most armors will have superior resistance to this rocket and will get less damage then idea 1, those very vulnerable to this would be TA, MA, MAMKII and LJ and would suffer higher damage then idea 1.

My original idea was Idea 2, but I feel it may unbalance combat a bit due to insane critical bypasses, while idea 1 will have identical critical bypasses as the other rockets. While in idea 1 they would never replace AP's in serious PvP/TC, in idea 2 they would be favored by crit rocketeers. The pyromaniac perks could perhaps be used here, catapulting the IR's to the top of the crit rocketeers wishlist, but would require a specialized build.

IR's could make a minor difference while surfing and turfing the wasteland. Run into some pesky furry critters? Use your new IR's and burn them away!

Why am I suggesting this?
Because I feel fire damage needs something on the long range. Short and medium range is covered by flamers and molotovs. It may introduce fire damage to the serious PvP fights. It will add more choices. Perhaps spur more diversity in builds.

Fire damage really is unused in the game (not the fault of fonline) so I'd support it.

It's because flamer has a very short range while all of the other big guns have a long range.
Molotovs are only used for leveling up because they are easy to get and due to the fact that frags are much better or so I heard.

I like this suggestion. The fire damage resistance on Floaters will be needed to tweaked, though, because of insanely fast leveling for BG chars possibility.

How much damage would such a char deal out?

Upgrade Flamers to the normal damage, not water guns(like many other weapons), add incendiary nades and rockets, and this should work anti-tanks(like FoT).

This seems like a great idea, but i'm not sure that the devs acctualy want to change the original arsenal of Fallout 2, but rather just balance it. Then again, they might have completely different intentions.
