Many events includes killing, last man standing, just killing or other types requires you to kill others, and since its not town control fight, people  from npc factions are taking part in them. For example i am vault city citizen myself, i take part in event, then after it i look at my karma and i have -1500 reputation with vault city citizens for just taking part in event :/ I think there should be option for gms, to freeze all reputation changes in place where event is taking place. Dunno if it is possible to be made for developers, but still something like this is urgent to have.

also another suggestion to karma changes. If you kill vc citizen (player) for example, you lose karma with vault city, but you should make then to get karma with raiders and enclave. I think you get the point.

yes you are true vedaras. but im for freeze it alltime.
I just hate, while somebody from VC is waiting in miningplace near VC, and when you go back with ore and minerals , he kill you. But when you have weapon and want to kill him . you cant because you will loose Karma.
That isnt fair...
It looks like its just protection for PKs.

just turn it off or make it same for people who wanna be NCR citizen or redding citizen , just for all cities, if everybody will be citizen of any city, it will be bad for PKs , they will think before shoot.
 but it will be bad for city taking and other PVP actions ,so the best way is to disable it...

Dont think, that Redding will change something. It isn't even local power.

The good thing would be gangs allied to NPC factions. NCR, Enclave, BoS, VC, New Reno (or it could be free city) etc.

u supposed to lose karma if the vc has a radio on him .... only this makes sense

well when i made a suggestion about that i made it in only with radios case. But radios are still very easy to obtain and it wouldnt change much. (But maybe it would help in events) :>

i mean, why the hell am i losing karma when i kill a vcitizen? does he have a chip under his skin or what?
he supposed to have a radio on him to let the hq know about the killer ...
every  blue suit is a member of vc he can kill, me shoot at me, loot me, but when i kill him off im losing reputation wtf ?

In events - no karma changes (of course)
In case of VC citizens - with radio or in VC/VC mine

You know, it's normal that VC mine is for VC citizens, all others are treated as scum... If you don't want to have trouble with VC idiots avoid VC.

Of course, to prevent total abuse of that part, guards should first shoot agresive players, then check if they are from VC or not ;]

Well killy, remember that players can be replicated. So we can came to a point in this discussion, that you kill a player, he is being replicated goes to vc and tells story about badass you... :D So its possible even in this way.

well for example, you have -300 rep with sf commies, and sf caravans shoots you too, but if you fight them back you get negative karma with sf too, so i dont see difference in that :> All factions should work as "roof" of you, so if you joined player faction, they should be your bodyguards :>

Problem is that it dont work just for killing citizens but for attacking them , every atack=-karma.
Thats stupid .
So VC citizen can kill you, but if you attack him , you have problem with VC.
And why i cant be protected by NCR or other cities ? when you can be protected by VC?

dude im talking about players not npcs, and when u kill any caravan THEY HAVE DAMN RADIOS ON THEM since u dont do it, u dont know it

Ok but they will be bodyguards for PKs?
If somebody plays this game like raider(PK) , why he is in VC and not in raiders faction?
I dont think that VC government want to have raiders/thieves/bastards  in their lines..
