Instead of adding TC in New Reno...

Make players able to take over the families.


It's quite simple, you kill all guards inside the cassino and once they're all dead you talk to the family leader to take over.


Pros:

-Different rewards in each casino box:
   -SGs and cheap armor  for bishop.
   -Few EWs for salvatore.
   -Drugs for mordino, especialy jet.
   -Beer and nuka for Wright. (these are the most obvious rewards)
-Guards outside casino protect you from other players.
-Safe heaven in Reno for your whole faction.


Cons:

-You'll have to hire more guards once you kill them all.
-Entering other casinos or bars run by the other families will result in a fight.
-You cannot control more than one family.
-Rep changes with some NPC factions.

Most random PVP happens in commercial row anyway, faction business would stay indoors at the casinos.

As Michaelh139 said it was suggested before. Although its not a bad idea but I don't like it for a simple reason I don't think that the families there should let anyone get in their territory and start extorting money and goods. Currently NPC factions are a bit weak I think it would be better if they would become stronger (not hp and gear wise but power). Messing with those families should result in having mafia hitmen going after you.
A bit off but I also don't like that BH is a TC town it doesn't need to be a guarded one though but muties shouldn't take orders and pay protection fee to some noname gang  (player faction).

Families shouldn't let anyone get in? We kill each other and explode things in their freaking city...

Well the families shouldn't care about us killing each others but they should send out their goons to kill those who harm reno residents. Anyway I always though that NPCs should be less forgiving, but it just me so doesn't matter much.

How about you do a few jobs for 1 of the families(Bodyguard,hitman,thief,erand boy,etc.etc.),and in return you get some loot and protection but you also get hated and shot on sight by the other families

Was all planned, but never got finished. I doubt that it will ever make it into the game. Well, at least not in the next one or two years.

Personnally, i would prefer to join them as a npc faction, than control them with a player faction.

TC isn't a solution for every cities...

Seriously? 2 years? I'm curious if the devs had a plan for this game or if they just make it up as they go. What's the timetable for this game a decade?

Developers have a lot of work to do right now, fixing existing broken game mechanics, features. I think wasting time on implementing new stuff is the wrong move, that is like the worst thing to do actually.

This game could become awesome again with only fixes, re-adjusting, balancing, in general with good decision making from developers. Think of it like this, why do you need to invent a new wheel, if you still haven't finished the previous one.

Suggestions aren't meant to be added right away and you know that.


They're simply put into the fridge so they may be eatten one day.

Yes, yes, "hooray, a new chance for hitting on 2238 devs!" You should have noticed by now that we simply don't have time for adding more mega projects to the existing ones. Also we are not a salaried development firm, so any timetable is bound to go with our free time and mood.
