well i bought base,then 2nd and 3rd, i wanted to share base then i got...

This is about base sharing and system of base computer thing.

I found out that rank in records has nothing to do with access to base(s) (doesnt matter how clearence is set in rank categories)!!!

Only status is relevant! So you are able to divide all your bases into 2 groups(invited,friend)


What is rank good for?

rank does decide who sees what base. i dont know what your doing wrong but i know tsar has the council base and are recruit base.
recruits cant see council.

i have over 15 bases i manage yes rank does mean everything.
are your bases actually done or are they in the contruction stage?

yes i can do this. if you want to do this(dont know why you would if all base are yours anyway) you need to go to base clearance and change it so recruits are allowed and all others are not or you just do the same for all others.... like imporant people and such.
its hard to explain.
example -  with this setting i dont let recruits or invited see my base but imporant members,trusted member and  accepted members all see the base.

well i checked pic and comment, but i tried this and i think you are wrong or mine is bugged.

Try this 2 things for me and tell me resoult if u will have time:
1. Remove friends allowed(disallow) in clearence menu for your base(on picture) and try if any of your, accepted,trusted,important members can acces base
2.set previous values(friends allowed) and create new alt, create record for him and set rank on him New Member(lowest value) and status friend. Now check if your new alt can acces base

I think first case NO and second YES.

Having a faction helps. TSAR controled the Den for a while, which is where at least part of those caps came from.
To get caps yourself:
- mine/gather, craft, sell on forum
- stranded ship quest
- slave runs
- use a max carry weight alt to craft and sell spears

I noticed that after promoting my alts, they still couldn't see a base until i fully logged that character out. Perhaps that is the problem?

you seriously dont know?

you go to metzger, enslave some peps to get 162 rep. then tell him that you dont want to work solo and he will give you a mission, you go there kill all the hostile NPCs and  return to him. He will give you a shitload of caps and your rep will fall to 150 so you have to enslave 2 more peps and sell it to him (and wait 2 hours) to take it again.
