It's all really about suppression of dissension, consensus through censorship.  Whether through extermination of those who have different or conflicting viewpoints or subtle spin of available media.  If there is only one opinion left, it must be right, right?

You can choose almost any PC, that's has at least 2 cores, 4 Gb RAM and decent video card, to run EVE and Garry's mod. It won't cost more than 300 USD. But if you want a PC, that will be capable to run every latest game at maximum settings, then you may need an exact configuration. So what do you want exactly? To spend 1500 on a PC, or to run just two games mentioned above?

If you're going to play this games in future - then Graf is right. You need average configuration of PC.

P.S. boatshift, modify your previous posts if you going to add something. Don't double post.

I got Gmod on steam, and basicaly if you can run Half Life 2 you can run Gmod aswell.
These are the requirements for Gmod:

Minimum:

OS: Windows® Vista/XP/2000
Processor: 1.7 GHz Processor
Memory: 512MB RAM
Graphics: DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE)
Hard Drive: 150 MB
Other Requirements: Internet Connection
Recommended:

Processor: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better)
Memory: 1GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card

They are the same as for Half Life 2.

Btw 1500 euro or dollars? Anyway here is my computer:

AMD Phenom II X6 Black 3.2 ghz
4 gb DDRM 3
Nvidia Geforce GTX 580 1.5 gb
Windows 7 Home Edition
HDD 1 TB (950 gb -.- actually, bitches)

I'm sure that with 1500 euro or dollars you can afford almost anything.

Just go to a PC store and then use this dialog on one of the employees:

Me <name>, me want masheen that run this. *Points at Crysis 2*

Then you buy the PC he points at.

Worked for me and I don't know shit about PC gigawhatevercores.

I know gmod isn't that heavy but meh... What if you want to play something else right?
