Hah, it's just matter of time when you got beaten down for acting such assholes.
You remember there is other places to sell slaves, why would bother to go Den, it's anyway PK battleground.

Oh please.. stay as you always are. Kill everyone on sight.
I don't mind about it.

As I said, I think that's at least nice attempt to not make this city only a battleground, as most town-controlling factions do. There are other places to sell slaves, but Den surroundings are the best area to hunt them, so who wants to bother going to NCR after. Which is not safe also.

It's not like for every entrance, once you pay, you can enter multiple times - but always call us on radio before.

So people have to ask for permission via radio channel? This is so trollabe - a troll can just get a radio and give false clearance, making people enter the town without your permision. You shoot them, they lose their 200 caps and come to forum to cry about your "lies".

Also, you want people to pay you to enter, what will you do while controlling the town? I don't mind about paying 200 caps to enter a town if I get something in return (RP projects, safe trade zone, whatever). Anyway game mechanics don't support this kind of stuff...

Oh and what's that about being unarmored? Fuck that, man, telling people to holster their weapons is one thing, but forcing them to be in those ugly blue suits is not good at all. I'd stay away from the Den only to stick to my leather jacket D:

If you call and ask if you can come with that beloved jacket, I think we might agree ;d About possible radio trolling - when we say that we'll wait at some entrance grid to protect you, you can always see us in preview. That will ensure you that we are there and you're 100% safe - also for mentioned by you safe trade, RP projects etc.

I would be more worried about people in bluesuits than those in leather jackets/leather armors/robes :)
IMHO better make low tier clothes obligatory ;P

Unless you make a list of characters, how can I be sure. Trolls can always make characters with your forum name plus one dot at the end or something :P

Every such attempt to make a town anything else than just a battleground is welcome. In my oppinion everything is better than just mindless bluesuit killing on sight. The Den has lots of potential in terms of player-to-player or player-to-environment interaction. There are several NPC traders, there is the slaver guild, there is a still, there are some NPCs which give away support perks etc.

The price you pay shouldn't be considered as a protection payment, in my eyes it's only a tax you pay for being in town, you pay for not being killed by RDA. If any enemy sneaker kills you, well too bad for you. I've been in Den few times since they captured it and have to honestly say that I wasn't killed even once. Of course if you jump in metal armor with laser rifle in your hands, you cannot expect they will treat you as a slaver, that's obvious.

Another excellent thing as a side effect: fresh air to pvp. Every time there are some people (geared in the best case) in basically any town, you can expect someone who will eventually attack them.

I wish you guys good luck in town defending and of course, lots of fun  ;)  because fun is what this game should be about.
