How to farm cigarettes.

I killed almost every thug and thief NPC in the game, no cigarettes yet.


I also searched for tobacco all over the wasteland, the only "tobacco plant" I've found was actually an apple tree.


I know there's tobacco in bases but I want to get my own stuff instead of taking from someone that might need it.


So yeah... Where the hell do I find cigarettes or tobacco?

You can't farm cigs for some reason, which is stupid because I don't think there aren't any NPC's that don't smoke in the wasteland. Cigs could spawn in differen't encounters on random NPC's not like stimpaks which are on every one of them, well I'm talking about the encounters where the NPC's have stims so either buy em or make them.

there are tobacco plants in some towns, klamath and I think modoc for instance. however, I never saw any actual tobacco there, these plants always seemed to be drained already so I dont know if these are actually working.

For cigs you will have to go to the tobacco farm anyway which is northwest of adytum. It has alot of plants and the only tobacco making machine, but the place is unguarded so come at night or bring friends.

Other than that, 100caps at various bars. Dont forget to get lighters either and for that you better use fdude's link.

There is also tobacco at the Outpost base in the garden with the fiber stalks, but while the fiber regenerates, the tobacco does not. We're hoping this is a bug to be fixed "soon".
