Taking cities just for the purpose to take them is quite unnecessary due to how long this session has went on, it is not the start of session when gangs lack stuff and require resources from towns more than ever.
I guess we have different definition of what "in control" means, having some name on cities won't help you pull out some victories and actually be in control of fights that happens mainly due to the beacon witch is produced by taking the town, we take towns because we want someone to challenge us.
The magic box of Town Control will not spawn opponent factions, but the timer will.
This is common sense for any team who does TC, understandable and true by itself, at least should be.
