Newbie looking to join an active faction.
« on: April 03, 2012, 07:47:07 am »

Hey guys, just trying to find a faction at the moment. Feel like having a group of people to chat/party with will make life a lot more easier then playing alone. I'm fairly new to Fallout 2238 but trying to learn as much as possible. Any faction will do, small or large, so long as theres a good sense of community.

Please reply or send me a PM, thanks!

What kind of player are you? PK/APK? PvP fighter? PvE explorer? Crafter? All of the above? lol

Honestly, I really don't know seeing as I just started out. I guess all? My current build is leaning towards PvE fighter for the time being I think, trying to get some good unarmed until I can grab myself a gun.

Seriously, in all honesty, save yourself the time and heartache and just quit now.  This game is in the last gasps of death and sadly nothing can revive it now.  I've played for about blah blah blah and it's about time to throw in the towel.  TC sucks, The game mechanics suck, the players suck, pretty much everything sucks.  This game has nothing to do with fallout besides borrowed intellectual property.  There is no real roleplaying only shitty pvp that tbh really well sucks.  This is my personal opinion and I hope I am entitled to have one and to share it with you.

It's all really about suppression of dissension, consensus through censorship.  Whether through extermination of those who have different or conflicting viewpoints or subtle spin of available media.  If there is only one opinion left, it must be right, right?

Thanks for the warning but I'd still like to play the game a little longer before calling quits. I'm enjoying it so far, despite the difficulty curve and distrustful community.

With a huge "In your opinion" stamped on the post. Please don't belittle others for what I see as a fantastic game.
Contrary to this, GE does do RPing and other team activities, and all of our players so far have been trustworthy and courteous.

Truly though, it might be the harshest most brutal game ever. I say dig in your heels and fight fight fight to survive and when they kill you, regardless of how, no matter what you lose, get up and keep fighting. Not all games should be sweet like candy. This one's sweet moments are rare, which make them even sweeter. Just don't expect those very often. Don't trust anyone and don't demand anything. Don't expect to be friends with the developers either. Just dive in and play it for what it's worth is what i say.
