Need a good action game..sugestions?

I'm borred and I'm looking for a good action game. No Battlefield or Call of Duty please. Any sugestions ? It don't need to have uber duber graphics.

Same like the above 2 besides Cromsonland, and I looked that up on YouTube. I don't like it.

Any Unreal or Unreal Tournament game (except for the newest one).

Singleplayer:
- Half-Life
- Half-Life: Opposing Force
- Half-Life 2 and its episodes
- The Darkness 2
- Assassin's Creed games (First one is a bit boring, but next ones are pure gold. Not really an action game, but gotta mention it anyway.)

Multiplayer:
- Day of Defeat Source
- Team Fortress 2
- Shattered Horizon
- Insurgency (HL2 mod)
- Firearms: Source (HL2 mod)
- Fistful of Frags (HL2 mod)
