You'll never see gang in leather jackets/armor with tommy guns and wakidzashi (or how it calls...), you'll always see metal armor+sniper rifle/bazooka on encounters, same items every time, so yea... it's different game, when everyone forgetting about roleplay.

its called a wakizashi, actually its used in a pair, either with a katana or a tantō.... so...  :/

Well, people aint forgetting about roleplay they just dont want to use it in terms of fighting other gangs... becouse if someone would go in with wakizashis, leather jackets, small guns the other team will almost with 100% propability walk in with combat/metal armors, sniper rifles, bazookas, miniguns.. becouse thats how you win a fight :P

If you are that picky about roleplay, complain about how people run all the time to get somewhere, or why no one eats/drinks/sleeps or how, well you get the point.

This a bit offtopic ;p

I'm about Fallout's roleplay. And old good times, when you kill slavers guild in leather armor and a magnum revolver, and not going at NCR from Arroyo first, stealing bozars and .223 from guards and only then start playing game. It's like the same. You coming to Den and see an army of maniacs in combat armor and high tech weapon... wtf? Yes, I understand, why do you need to take 10mm pistol, when you can craft a sniper rifle, but... "waste"land is full of high tech weapon, it has even more weapon, than before nuclear war...

You can waste your time trying to make all those skins, but honestly - it'll be nothing more, than WASTE of your time. The reason is simple - server already crashes frequently (too frequently, to be honest...), so putting another tens of thousands pictures into server just because you don't like 3D models (have you seen that models? Why are they so bad in your opinion? Tell us, please...) is just plain stupidity, and it won't make server work any better...

Have you ever thought why GM's are removing skins (other than long-hair dude) from players? It's not their malice, it's for better stability of the server, 'cause there won't be as many pictures to manage, acess and display.

Just a fast question, if im not mistaken, the graphic stuff doesnt stress the servers becouse its not for the servers to handle. They merely give you a destination and those stuff but its your computer that handle the graphic part.

Yeah, you have all animations at critter/master.dat + custom dat's. And, this ORPG is the lowest traffic eater i've ever played, so I don't see any problem with server, animation you see is depending on your dat files on your computer.
