Passing out at logoff.

I have a little suggestion of merely cosmetic nature.

When you logoff, your character pass out and fall, instead of standing around glassy-eyed. I thought it would add a little touch of realism.

That is the position I usually see players logging off in anyway.

So, one keeps standing when your soul leaves the body, huh? Creepy.

On the contrary, people faint constantly in the Wasteland because of harshness and why not making the character "go to sleep" when logging off? On your bed or matress in your tent, for example?

Come one, devs, if you don't want to implement knocking your own character out, consider at least this one.

I dont see a reason this shouldnt be in. Its just a cosmetical change and would make sense, I'm all for it. :)

Sounds great.

The only bad thing I see in it is in a TB fight - when for some reason you disconnect from the server (be it server problems or your own connection) and you relog, you are on the ground. If you are not dead already, you need APs to stand up, effectively penalising you for stuff you can't do anything about.

Doesn't sound bad... Right now you can't resneak when you are seen by a character that isn't online, which is kind of strange...

Thanks for support! :)

As in TB and disconnection issue: the knockdown should be initiated by the depressing of "quit" button instead of actual disconnecting.

Or instead of having actual knock-out, have it just replace the idle animation with the one lying on the ground.

I still can be reached over e-mail if you somehow need anything from me. Don't see a reason why you would, but if you do, e-mail remains the safest bet, as I do not visit this forum reliably anymore.

I like this, although it made me think of the scene in the Matrix when Cypher unplugs the two people, and they immediately collapse on the floor.

Heh, the realistic explanation would be the heat. People tend to faint in the hot Wasteland - and then, their bodies are covered up by the wind with sand.
