Toughness
« on: February 15, 2012, 12:05:27 am »

Simple suggestion, Make toughness a level 3 perk and even tougher a level 6 perk like last session, why was this changed?

Not many useful perks at level three except weapon handling for certain builds or h2h damage for leveling up all my 10 str heavy handed alts faster and few others that are for certain builds only.
Last session toughness was a very popular level 3 perk :( and it was a nice little all round perk that could fit into any build really.

I don't think anyone wants to take adrenaline rush (that doesn't seem to work) to lose half your hp before the perk even comes into play when you can just take a toughness instead + it has dt. 2 toughness is tank enough for me without wasting too many perk slots and the only use for you being a meat shield.

I'd prefer to just fix Adrenaline Rush to be worthwhile.

It could be very useful if it was something like 8-10% for every 25% of hp missing, with that and both toughness you might actually survive a burst at 25% health.

But the problem is that when you are low on health, you want to heal up not enjoy the additional damage resistance. Most of the time players are at full hp, so this perk would be mostly useless.

It would be much better if it did what the player wanted to do when he gets hit: heal up. So when player's hps drop to 50% hp or he gets cripled he will instantly doc and fa himself without any ap cost or animation. Normal cooldowns apply. Don't ask how, it's just a feature.

Basically this perk is only useful for players with a large amount of health for it to have much use because it will only activate when you have half hp, at level 3 and up most players will not have enough hp to make this perk worthwhile which is why it's better to just take the toughness instead and if you have full health all the time the perk isn't really doing them much, it just sits there and waits for you to be half dead.

Even if the perk was fixed I wouldn't bother picking it up.
