I really hate to say it again, but it seems to have been missed.  The fact that these mines cost over 7 times the amount of the second best base in the game (if built by players) leads me to believe the should in the LEAST not run out, and probably should have HQ stuff, either that or a drastic reduction in price.

Well, yeah, price should be much lower than 75k, if there's no HQ resources there. And I think there shouldn't be any HQ, we have three public mines for these already and, what's realy weird, it's the LQ resources that are harder to get.

I doubt it. Looks like FOnline mapper, it allows bigger maps.

Exactly, now when we have multiple bases per faction, it makes sense even more. Map is nice, with some minor adjustments, it could be wonderfull new base map.

As for DIY, why not? No one says it has to be abandoned mine, just ask someone to find a deposit, take some dynamits/C4 and make a new mine.

A wonderful example of a suggestion, Wichura. A idea reinforced with a solution: all the devs need is to take and put it in game.

Looks nice, I think a mine base would be good for RP and atmosphere even if the ores and minerals themselves become depleted.

Edit: I also like the idea lower respawn rates--to represent that the mine you're getting is marginal and not something ncr or vault city would seize as a strategy resource. With lower respawn, most of your metal parts and alloys brokers will still go to public mines... so the market for these materials won't change terribly much. The mine base would be more of a vanity possession, for that occasion when you go to a public mine and everything is depleted...you'd have the mine base as a back-up--just a little help against rage and not a major game-changer.

Devs said many times that HQ are in unguarded areas to make people cooperate and mine in groups if they want to be safe.
A HQ mine would allow carebears to have access to pretty much everything possible in the game to craft without even leaving the safety of their base and mine.

Well...uh, I've been mining HQ Minerals and Ore solo now for a couple of months? I'd say the developer logic is somewhat flawed there--the game isn't about being safe but calculating risk versus reward. As it stands I can mine HQ with a minimal expenditure of resources and pk events are the rare exception and not the rule.

I say if you can do a mine run successfully 99.9% of the time, making such resources available in base is a mere formality...all it takes is a willingness to admit that some players get better at the game and aren't quivering in their boots. The issue isn't about carebears, rather it's about experienced players who would like to graduate beyond fetch missions and move on to more challenging goals...

I'm sad to say it seems like you're posting a lot in places just to get your speech % up, but in any case, HQ materials like ore and mineral are not rare, and not even that hard to get.  I think that a mine that costs easily SEVEN times the amount of the second best base in the game (if you choose to build your own)  Should not deplete, and should have hq materials, but and a lower respawn rate and capacity, to help mitigate the production.

Or should respawn slowly after initial depletion, but becomes partially visible on map- with visibility/discovery increasing over time.

Also, TC caps/etc. will easily buy these, thus permanently securing any big gang.

The 'theory' behind the price of private mines is that they give out well over the value of the mine in ore/minerals.  However since the ore can be depleted and apparently won't be high quality anytime soon, it is a bit of a stretch.  I think some modifications to the system would be great and slowly replenishing nodes would be cool, that way even if it is ONLY low quality at least it's worth having one, cause for some smaller gangs we don't mine to max every day so it would go a few days filling up then we could go when needed again.
