Ever wondered if that player who just entered your encounter is just a random guy with no bad intentions or aggravated PK who will call for his squad to wipe you and your friends out?
Well if making a distress call would be visible (why shouldn't it be?) like using item or FA on someone you would know if you can safely interact with that person or get out the enc as soon as possible
Yesterday i was forced to kill such random guy coz even after repeated warnings that we will blow him up if he wont leave and we felt insecure with him being there watching motionlessly as we dispatched critters... We had a strong impression that he called for help and waited for his mates to show up.
After searching his remains it turned out that he had no radio on him... That made me feel bad =/
If that issue was part of the game nothing like this would've happened

Distress could have a "Talks in radio" message overhead when used.

About distress
Why encounters close soooo damn fast? Why it cant be a hour or maybe half of?
And npc's diseaper its stupid
