Honestly it's a great idea, but this has such a huge possibility of being rigged. Not saying I don't trust you or your faction, because I have no idea who you are, but personally I'd be wary of such a thing and I feel like others might be too.

I'm a member/one of the original people of said faction that is doing the armour raffle.

I can understand why you'd think this is a scam, however while it doesn't mean much from me(considering I am in the faction), we're really not people looking to scam people. Why else would we have gathered up the materials and then spend the time(loonnngg crafting cooldown) if we're just going to rip people off?

Also, if you are interested in purchasing a ticket/s, please note that there are no specific items returned to you as soon as you buy them simply because there's no way we can give you an item like that. Instead, whoever you purchase from will inform either Tagar or I over our forum, and you will be appointed a group of numbers depending on how many tickets you buy(1 = 1, of course).

it's only 500 caps for a ticket people. 1 load of mineral ore turned into gunpowder is already worth 2 tickets.
Only 500 caps and you have a chance to get the fabled Brotherhood armor.

By my understanding this would be as easy as a simple random number generator once all the "numbers" (tickets) are collected. 150 tickets max per person; there hasn't been a decision on the total limit yet.

Though certainly I could see how this sort of thing would be hard to believe if all you've known in FOnline is loss, grief, and that crushing reality of loneliness. Can't win 'em all, I say.

I think it works like this:
4 people decide to join the raffle.
person 1 takes 5 tickes
person 2 takes 10 tickets
person 3 takes 20 tickets
person 4 takes 1 ticket.

So total there are 36 tickets

Person 1 has 5 out of 36 chance to win so: 13.8%
Person 2 has 10 out of 36 chance to win so: 27.8.%
Person 3 has 20 out of 36 chance to win so: 55.6%
Person 4 has 1 out of 36 chance to win so: 2,7%

The more tickets you buy the higher the chance that you win.

GroeneAppel has it correct. There are no limits on the total amount of tickets, but a limit on  how many a player can purchase.

We've also been considering asking a GM to do it too, we're just rather busy with our own faction related stuff at the current point in time.

That wouldn't make to much sense.
remember 1 ticket costs 500 caps.
So a 100 ticket is 50.000 caps. and a 150 75.000 caps
Now I don't exactly know how much Ca and Ba goes for. But I think it's less than that.
