QUESTION
Only me noticed that current version of 2238 works worst than previous? On the first sight everything looks the same, fine... but its not. There is something wrong. I'm not sure how to describe it but previous version worked better. For me the problem is strange 'freezing' that have nothing in common with lags. It's more like FPS drop. The same thing happens if u try to run new game on old computer. It slows down. I can't explain it in other way...
Before wipe i didn't have that problem. My CPU is Win7, Duo 2,2GHZ, 4GB ram, 1GB graphic and I play in 1024/699 window mode all the time.

Well the crashing fullscreen when switching windows is certainly making it worst than previous version.

i cant even play in real time this session. the client seizes up in ncr really bad. a thief was stealing from me all the way across the screen. my frame rate drops to 5fps at times. my ping is around 130-300 most of the time. i dont have lag as manero said. its like something is pushing too hard but is exhausted.

What I have noticed is increased memory demand. Its eating ~75% of my system resources, slowing down my browser and fking up mirc and mumble...
Prewipe I could run all those programs with no issues.

Yep, it sucks in a weird way. I play almost fullscreen (which is windowed actually), and have same issues: real time is fucked up a little. sometimes the battle clock wont let me go grid for a while after countdown... all little freezes, hasnt happen before if i had normal ping.
This session, no matter of connection quality, i have these issues.

The only change I noticed is that the new client crashes sometimes when I start it.

This new client is definitely worse than the previous one, in many ways: graphic bugs, freezing, crashing during launching, fps drop with mumble overlay on etc.

So is there any way to change it? I'm quite demanding when it comes to play and current client doesn't pleases me...

Wipe ago I could play on my notebook (very shitty by the way) on real time mode. Now it's just good for gathering and crafting.
Lucky for me that I have PC as well. Fortunately I did not notice any changes with FPS.

Seems after update its less demanding on my resources, runs smoother. Little slower in startup though, but no biggie.
