But yes, some lockers are impossible to open. There have been a couple threads about this, in earlier ones Devs said it was a bug (because of the effort during this session that's gone into discouraging alting through the necessity of 300SP skills), but here, Wipe says it isn't.

Anyway, if I don't get it the first time I typically don't try it again. Don't do what that dude did, some are just lost causes.

I always try at least 3 times.  I figure it's easy to go 6 minutes without finding a locker so you might as well try a couple of times.  Many many many times I've failed on my first but succeeded on second or third.

6 people with skill 300% tried one and open the chest totzhe to 5 times. Get 30 attempts. And it does not open. The error in the game when I fix it?

Just move on and find another box.

Developer said some boxes are meant to be unlockable even with 300% and lockpicks.

Whether this means you need to have perks or find other ways to open them (crowbar?, dynamite?) is unclear so for now your best bet after trying 3-5 times is to stop wasting time and leave to try and find other boxes.

If you want a "RP" perspective the lock is rusted and jammed. Even the best locksmith couldnt open it.

At the same time best locksmith could perceive that the lock is impossible to open...

Right! It'd be good when glancing at the lock would give you it's difficulty level: piece of cake, easy, regular, problematic, hard, tough call, insane, impossible!

No, a locksmith couldn't open a 200 year old rusty lock that is jammed shut.

But a 12 year old with a crowbar could.  And trust me, I got a lot of crowbars in my pickers tent.  It would be nice if there was another use for it other than beating rats in the face.
