put radio in hand
type .h or /h followed by message i.e /hMeet in NCR courtyard next to statue.
(you can send false messages with your distress to decoy people you don't want to find you like in the first example - when actually you are in empty map just outside of gecko mine and want to set up a shared tent) Point is if the person/people you are meeting know your going to send false message that is distress they will know where to find you if you tell them before hand, you could use 2 radios on different frequency, 1st to tell them where to meet and then 2nd send the distress.
Or .hHelp I'm in encounter with deathclaws, floaters and centaurs.

It's enough that the char is ingame, even if it's logged off. Anything that requires multiple players to do is completely doable alone with alts and alts/multilog/proxies. If you make it impossible for logged off chars to count in the char check, players will use dual log. If you disallow dual log, players will use proxy. If you put skill requirements, players will bring their alts, duh ::)
The "need multiple chars to do this" just aint working. It's bypassable by loopholes and those who refuse to use loopholes get annoyed and demand justice.
Players like challenge and overcoming challenges. However if challenges are set in ways that demand loophole methods to bypass, they will do it. This is why challenges need to be set so that one can overcome them by fair and square skilled gameplay and cheating has no effect.
Features like that should simply have the difficulty setting put in such magnitude that even multiboxer can't compete. TC is good example of succesful teamwork requiring quest: you can't defeat multiple players with multibox. This can be withnessed in one of Res' videos where he smashes some BHH proxies.
Turn based pve is another pretty decent one. Skilled use of terrain and knowing the ai reactions to your movement awards rewards. Surely there are ways to abuse the ai but so far fair tb fight is okay too, at least for me.

I'm not completely sure about this one, but fast relogging, i.e., logging in with another character when the previous one is logged off but still in the game is not allowed. It would be nice if a GM could reply to this topic and clarify things a bit.

GM/admins don't care:
--- Quote from: Lexx on January 16, 2012, 11:29:09 AM ---There is no way we can establish a big brother-esque surveillance system, so catching people who dual log is rather random and uneven. Some people will be fucked while lots of other people just don't care and never get caught. So, yeah. As long as you don't abuse game features with dual logging, we don't care anymore. That's not ":\" news, it is ":)" news, because now the few people who just traded items in their tent will keep their characters unbanned.

Apparently it is allowed now but a dev didn't care enough to edit 2 lines in rules when I suggested it.
And how players are supposed to respect gamed rules ::)
ThePhoenix77:
So where has the 10 minute time-out for re-logging gone if it's still banned?
As far as I can see = with no time-out fast logging is permitted.
