As I was waiting 5 minutes for the timeout, I found myself doing all kinds of stuff and forgetting about the timeout and then alt+tabbing back after 20 minutes. So as a way of keeping the player IN the game, how about a button in Pip-Boy which would start a black and white (or green and greener) game of snake, or tetris or something simple like that?A win-win would be if it showed the cooldown timers right next to it while playing.
before all the crafters will tell me im stupid, just consider it a joke
You simply writing there in how many minutes pip-boy start "bip-bip". Also message will appear, so window will flush, if you're alt+tab'bed. And you can do whatever you want.
I have better idea for cooldown waiting. You can have "Alarm Clock" at pip-boy, so you don't need to download and use custom programms. You simply writing there in how many minutes pip-boy start "bip-bip". Also message will appear, so window will flush, if you're alt+tab'bed. And you can do whatever you want.
only if it play a different sound on each cooldown, fa could have a cloth ripping sound, doctor could have a squelching sound, gathering could have a wood sawing sound, crafting could have a hammer on anvil sound, and so on and so forth.
