Wastelands railway? How come this survive in post-apocalyptic world full of destruction, terrorists and junk-loving collectors? People could travel on undamaged tracks only on some small distances.

This age is not 1 or 2 year after war. So i think that people can make some kind of this transportation in wasteland. We have cars. So why we cant have train ?

Because it is pretty unlikely that people will be able to maintain undamaged railway track over a huge distance. There is no real government in this universe and there are plenty of factions fighting with each other, which would make it impossible to keep control of long piece of land. Making sabotage would be pretty easy, and on rail track it means destruction of train and death of people. There is also no road infrastructure  (like  undamaged roads, traffic lights, motorways) in Wastelands, you can travel only by vehicles able to move in not-so-good conditions.

yea you got right but that is also why quests with materials contribution for railroad repair etc.  would be more real  Imo as for sabotage terrorist and ithers who want destoy it u can make  couple of quests "seek and destroy" type like  "our soucess says that  terrorist/raider/scavenger gruop who atacked our rairoads want to strike again we finded  they nest go there and give them lesson" or other quests like that. Possibility of quests that would be make  "Wasteland Railroad" more real are quite big. Its all about ideas how make it look more real

look on existing examples from real world like Nyan  here said wild west attacks on railroads  was hapends not to often ofcourse but still 
this option for raiload would be good even if will be added later
