this is true 100 percent ... i was the strongest noobs i was a loner for more then half my time playing this game. yes i got pissed off when i got killed 5 - 1 but i got over it and fought on. this is why i get so pissed when people bitch like this when they get killed and shit. i had to go threw it all and i learnt from it and became a good player. learning and adapting to the waste is the way to go not bitching that you died. all this time theses people are bitching about dieing and not being able to do something they could use it instead to find ways to not die and make things work.
just saying.
none of this is directed to anyone just saying. learn from your mistakes take a momment to realize what you did wrong and correct it. i have been playing for 2 years and i still make noobish mistakes that often cost me allright but the cost is well worth the knowledge and skill i gain.
so theryon look at every time you die and loss caps as paying into your education.

Let me see if I can get this:

* If I am a new player I don't deserve a car even if I got the money to buy it?
* If I am a new player I don't deserve a faction or a base because all the names have been taken?

I put caps in my piggy bank for days so i can get a car and watch New Reno like a hawk so i can buy a car only to get blown to pieces and have my money and my car stolen right in front of T-Ray. That guy dosn't protect his clients? That can't be good for business he is the only car dealer in Fallout and he is protected by the mob.
I go to buy a base (that didnt hapened I just herd this from my friend because I dont have any MONEY) and the guy dosnt sell me one because guess what... I HAVE TO TELL HIM A FU**ING NAME THAT MY FACTION WILL USE or else he dosnt whant to sell me a base, why dosnt he like Eat S**t or Home Sweet F**king Home or any name that comes to mind. I have to guess what name HE whants for me? C'mon I have been gone an year and still the same annoying  s**t. This kind of s**t made me leave the first time and I like this game in general.

This is only a fraction of the annoying shit that f**ks up your game and the will to play. Lots of people calls this realism ... ARE YOU F**KING INSANE!!!??? 

And all this s**t on the cover of "the wasteland is harsh" and is more realistic this way because you see... F**CK YOU!!!

This game is not for everyone, in your case i suggest you find another game, honestly.

Sadly right now, the game isn't designed to be fun or helpful for anyone starting out without a Basic knowledge of the game to begin with.  The wiki and the survival guide help but only if you look for them.  If you just walk in and start you don't get the info that the whole game is full of lulz seeking abusers who only get thrills by f'n up your day.  That you learn the hard way.  You can get ahead in the game, but not really alone.  As far as the statement you should leave, that is false, because eventually people are going to wake up to the fact that a game like this will continue it's constant circle of lulz=population decline, until something changes.  In a bit I'll post in suggestions a new idea for maybe lessening the blow to low level players, without changing the current flawed pvp system.

Lulz and retardedness is only going on in populated safe towns. People say it's only ncr but that's because ncr is the most populated.
Try to have retard-fun in any unsafe towns and it gets serious fast. Dead serious.

I kind of agree with the concerned Wastelander after reviewing your post history. Almost every post you have made has been riddled with complaints, and it seems like you haven't been having any fun at all.  I know I wouldn't play a game if I didn't enjoy it.

If you do enjoy it - great. I just don't know what else to think at this point.

Hmmm the bad thing in forum is that you cant delete your topics. This topic was just rage since I forghot how to play it and I got angry for my mistake (not locking the door behind me). I havent playd this game for 1 year so it was hard for me to start from scratch and now I know how new commers feel. Sorry about starting this topic I forghot the rules of the game for a moment  and it was stupid to post my rage here on forums.

Don't worry I think majority of players are very understanding of rage.

Game makes you rage -> you cuss and yell -> you calm down playing hello kitty -> have a moment of clarity -> back to playing 2238.

What I suggest in the future when you buy a car, there is a red button on lower right hand corner of map screen click it then you can select a part of the map. Then click on the top triangle to preview the map. If the doors are open that means somebody might be there or was there recently. Not to say that always works, people can easily close the door. I would also enter a few times blue suit as well. Also if you have a friend, have him enter blue suit to make sure its safe for you then enter buy the car.

That is all I can suggest if you do not have PvP friends to guard you while you buy it.

Hey Theryon, i've only played for 3 months and have a bunch of cars and a private base, in a faction with multiple bases including a bunker. I started here not knowing much and took my first 6k caps happily to Reno because i was going to buy a car yay! And was promptly killed faster than i could even react, my caps gone. I was very disappointed.

What i did not do: rage in a forum.

What i did: dug in my heels and tried again smarter. We use scouts, we close doors, we tempt out the PKs and we end up getting all the cars we want. We don't lose this fight anymore. I think of it as education that cost me 6k.

So no, you don't "deserve" a car just because you have the caps. You don't "deserve" a base just because you have the caps. In fact, none of us "deserve" any part of this game since we're not even paying for it. It's a privilege to play it, and a joy when things work out. Upsetting perhaps when plans crash (and really weird when Section 9 infiltrates your gang, foils your first TC, then posts a video about it as if it was ever a fair fight lol and a bunch of meaniheads pile on) but you gotta stay cool man.

Stay cool and don't press that "Submit" button when you type out your rage post. Type it to get it out of your system but do not send it! Haha, then take a breather, delete it all and start over...in the SUGGESTIONS forum as if you're a calm cool fellow developer with some good ideas. That gets received far better. Cool man?

I remember about a Section 8 that infiltrated your bases and teached you that you cant trust anybody in this game. I also remember how they didn't even took one item from your bases and how they proposed to kill all their characters that they used for infiltration in your bases so you won't fear another infiltration... I also remember how they gave you advices about pvp builds and about the game in general. Yes, they spoiled one TC for you, but you'll never succed a TC  just as GN13, they just wanted to give you a taste about what TC really means...

About that evil Section 9 that you talked about, i've never heard, but they sound like big assholes.
