am i allowed to defend my tent or  caravan vagon with more than 3 mercs ( CH8 ). i mean i will not break a game rule if I will place in my tent/vagon 20-25 mercenaries?

No, you can place as many mercs as you want, if you have enough caps.

Your tent (and your base) are private places, so you can fill them with mercs.

and what about non private areas?

can you leave mercs in such palces and order them to kill stuff?
if yes you are limited by yoru charisma or yo ucan put as many as you want...

(i assume as long mercs are with you its totaly fine for whatever purpsoe you would use them)

and finally what happen to mercs if you log out while they follow you in non private area? they also "dissapear" ?

well, the brahmin and slaves iäve logged out with disappear if they are in follow mode with you and come back when you relogin..

# of slaves or mercenaries you are able to have in "Wait/Gaurd" position is not affected by your Charisma. With the money, you could literally circle the whole tent or base with 300HP(?) Mutants.
