Awaiting respawn timer at respawn location

When you're killed it takes 60-65 seconds before you respawn. During that time you have full perception.
In case of TC or random PvP that means you can see enemy movements and pass that info on to your friends.

My suggestion is simple. After dead you immediately respawn at the respawn location where you have to wait till the respawn timer reaches 0. During that period you can't do anything except perhaps walking around. Usage of doc or FA skills should be impossible and you can't leave the location.

This would add some more dynamics to PvP. 1 team loses their scout and therefore a tactical advantage. The information scouted can become useless almost immediately as the scouted team can change position or formation.
As a bonus we would be getting rid of the roughly 5 extra seconds of waiting time after the respawn timers reaches 0.

Hum, no, unless 3 hex view range is your full perception...
Also, it's useful when a mistake happen, to explain yourself, that kind of things.

Maybe he means that the things we saw remain visibile until they move.

As well as "shitting in mouth", it is sometimes useful to be able to say "Sorry about that. Meet me at VC and I'll give you your things back".

I'm not worried about that sort of thing really. Anyway, it's more when a very low level player tries to steal from or PK you. Anything else would be pointlessly harsh.

I know a lot of people wouldn't see it like that, of course.

We could go halfsies!

Speed up respawn timer by 50% in place you are killed, have the other half be at the respawn point.

No point in reinventing the wheel. Enforcing FOV refresh ("hiding" critters which are >3 hexes away, without need to wait til they move) on death would be enough.

yeah i have no idea what OP is talking about.
when you die, you cant see anything but a few hexes. most ive seen when im dead is someone dead next to me.  ;D
i honestly miss the feature where you could talk (not just whisper) to other players. so they wouldnt just have to be in your adjacent or primary hex.
