you can keep yoru current account on forums, ingame accounts are independent and you will crate one via REGISTRATION form in client.

@FallOfDeathclaws: Now I get it, you thought your forum account was associated with your game account, no no no forum and game account are two different things. You use your forum account when reporting bugs to a bug tracker or contributing to wiki (not sure about wiki though).
Launch your FOnline client and register a new character. You can register as many characters (sometimes referred as alts) as you want. My advice is to start with two characters, one taxi/trader/crafter and one M60 farmer.

Sorry for being an idiot and bombarding the forums with questions, but I've got my head round the Registering thing but when I go to sign it it says User or password incorrect and I know that I got it right what can I do? I'm so close to playing the game...

Check your password by holding a control key (ctrl) in the menu. This way you should be able to see your password and watch out, password is case sensitive (which means if the password is "MyPassword" you cannot type "mypassword"). If this doesn't help, just try to create a different character but this time make sure you'll write down your login and pass carefully. Also don't forget once you create a character you must see "Registration was successful" message. If you don't see this message that means something went wrong.

I don't get the "Registration Successful" message and I have even copied the info into notepad what do I do?
