So yeah Im pretty much wondering shuld I play this, I mean I LOVE the fallout series and completed Fallout 1 once Fallout 2 once Fallout 3 Four times and New Vegas seven times (for real). And Im wondering is there a desent playerbase in the game ? I mean I imagine the game like me and my friends gather up with our dirty and jamming guns and we're about 20 and we attack a camp with 60 enemies. We sneak around and stab the guards to death with shanks and enter the base. and when if we kill all of them we loot their foor water and caps and get outta there b4 the NCR come ! Anything like that ?

Player-base is dwindling but still high enough, tbh it sounds like you would be more interested in a multiplayer fo3/NV and not this.

1. There is no multi F3 nor NV
2. I really don't care about graphics if I cared about graphics I wuld just watch pictures of stuff all day
3. I played a lot of very cool games like this, but with a low player base, and a multiplayer game with a low playerbase is unplayable
4. I just made a character and I kinda like the game, thro I found only like 3 people so far

PS : I played 30 more seconds and I really like it lol It has a nice athmosphere and it brings back the old days, just quadrople times more fun, Im gonna be a stealth mellee fighter.
PSS : I found a lot more people @_@ Why is everyone standing in 1 place lol

Oh don't be fooled by the way the game looks at the start - It won't be easy, you will get:
* Punched
* Trolled
* Robbed
* Bursted
* Bursted to pieces for a silly reason
* Exploded
* Bursted to pieces by a random sneak BG user in an unprotected town
* Crippled
* Sad and you will want to rage on the forums
* Shot in the eyes with a scoped hunting rifle from 40 hex range resulting in a critical shot with armor bypass, knock down, knock out, cripple, insta-kill and death.

If you see any bugs please use the bugs section. Remember to read bug posting rules before reporting a bug. Please remember this is just an open beta version and is not final. There aren't many people playing because there hasn't been an update for a long time, next update is a wipe (EVERYTHING get's deleted including your chars, items etc. and the server gets updated). Make sure you also know about the upcoming 3D era, on which I'm personally working on myself.

3D era, U mean the game is going 3D ? lol from now I can see it ! All I can say is good luck with the working I hope nothing gets in ur way, I myself made a game once (rly rly simple one) with a simple program and it was just random trollfaces poping out and u need to click them I wuld be happy to help with the development but thro im starting to study programing (C plus plus) this year im a complete n00b at programing anything

I just hope for the 3d era there's a bit more realistic combat. I and a friend started doing robberies (roleplay) and most of the people sayed somthing in russian/polish and opened fire, lol a lot of people were killed. The thing is a guy opened fire on us for no reason (well yeah) and we fired back and didn't kill him with 2-3 bullets ! He killed us with a minigun. We had the first strike thro if it was realistic...
1) He wuld've dropped the minigun !
2) He wuld've fell, criticly wounded
3) He ... wuld've died

For the people that say "THIS IS A ROLEPLAY GAME ROAAR" Roleplay means realism and like IRL, do u survive 3-4 shots IRL ? I mean I understand if he was wearing power armour that is futuristic and stuff but we had magnums againts his metal armour, bullets wuld pass by the armour like a hot knife through rotten butter ...

Yes, if bullets are made in few seconds from 3-6 strange red or blue packs that were crafted from some white rocks that you got by swinging your hammer on some rocks. Then you crafted some metal thing from other rocks and then you merged metal thing and strange packs and got so called "ammo". A gun is made from a wooden stick, some metal things and some another things made from white and grey rocks. And then this strange weapon shoots your homemade ammo.
Of couse you'll survive 3-4 shots from that kind of weapon.

Yeah, also I think back attacks shuld be insta kill if u have a weaker armour. like SNAP in the neck and bye bye. So there wuld be more ROLEPLAY in roleplaying games like a guy with a minigun wuldn't be that strong againts 7 guys with revolvers. He starts shooting maybe kills one guy and gets shot to death. Currently he wuld go terminator and kill everyone, and the game becomes ABGTCRPGJBOTS (Another Bloody Game Thats Called Role Playing Game Just Because Of The Stats)

Besides it looks like yet another "killed me nerf it!" thread. Roleplay? Here? Are you nuts? If you want to roleplay anything, let me tell you what - keep shut and do it in some silent, deserted place, like we do with our Fight Club. You can't change playerbase by whining and wishful thinking, so - adapt.

He wasn't talking about the guns but about the situation, having 7 guys with revolvers filling you with bullets should only end 1 way... unless you get the drop on them while they're clustered and kill them before they get a chance to retaliate (which still is the very same point, roleplaying)

Why is there so much hate about the roleplaying concept? It really isn't about 4 or 5 guys playing make-believe, its about situations that should work in a given context, and in a Post apocalyptic world, 7 guys with revolvers should down a guy with a minigun, unless the minigun guy is wearing an overly advanced piece of armor (namely a PA) in which case it would be dumb luck if any revolver guy leaves alive, (a BA and a CA work like any current body armor system, and wont stop 7 revolvers from killing you)

just to avoid making another post for it, I also support the idea that melee should have a big advantage over ranged weaponry at melee range, its just logical that a 6 feet tall brute gets in hands range and wrestles your gun out of your puny sniper hands, and then bashes your brain with it, or perhaps does a clothesline from 2 hexes away and drops you on the ground and wrestles you to submission. And its fairly logical too that an eye shoot should very very likely put said brute out of commission, thankfully ranged weaponry should mostly always have several hexes of distance to put those monsters down, and only well thought and well executed guerrilla tactic could prevail against armed opponents if you're using only your hands.

Im willing to put up with the forced PVP mechanics if im given at least a small shot at taking down my attackers on ANY circumstances (for instance with my bare hands which I shouldn't leave home without) unless im outnumbered (Outgunned makes it hard to win but it shouldn't be impossible)

In short, a guy with a minigun should be way more practical and efficient than several unarmed guys, no matter how brutish they are, however a single of those brutes gets the drop on the minigun guy and its over for him, so no more rambo BA LSW players, and lets welcome more tactically styled squad fighting.

It does have more firepower. But he wuld've been surrnounded and when he starts shooting someone wuld shoot him and he wuld die.
