fallout new vegas dlc's
« on: July 23, 2011, 06:16:24 am »

so far there are 3 dlc's out raiseing the lvl cap to 45 which is cool and all.... but well i found that the dlcs suck there not really all that great i find the storeys suck the only good thing about them is higher lvl cap and new weapons.
just want to get some other peoples opinon about this.... i just feel like fallout 3's dlc where 10 times better storey were better and weapons where better. i feel like fallout new vegas producers are just makeing the dlc's to make money not because they want a good storey just for money. no real time was spent think about good dlc's it was hey nice shit idea lets do it.
feel like i wasted 30 bucks on them...
for people that played them give me some feed back on what you think.

But why are you playing this silly game when you could spend your money on something much better?

http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/

It's like Town Control in Fonline but alot more fast paced with strategy mixed in.

i played all the current F:NV DLC, and i loved them so much that i wanna play them again with diferent caracter
Dead Money: best puzzle game, you needed certain folowers for diverse situations, and you need some big brains and hard reflexes for it, especialy since you can't anything from the Wasteland with you
Honest Hearts: epic atmosphere and a superb story-line, the companions where awesome and the posible endings are a lot, + the .45 auto weapons are bestial, not to overpowered and not to useless
Old World Blues: I lold so motherf****** hard i shited a few times, the jokes in there and the science in there and the jokes about science and science fiction are more than funny, like the dialogs with 8 or with Mobius, or with 0 or with The Sink apliances, or with the armors, epic lawl there

so the DLCs are for any type of players and i recomend them with an open and honest heart

only one i really liked was old world blues because of the penis jokes and such. ;D but other ones sucked too short no real plot. fallout 3 dlcs where 100 percent better ( btw sorry if theres any spelling mistakes kinda drunk)

EDIT: Not surprising for our typical FOnline player, though.

the penis jokes barely made me grim, but the dialog with Mobius and the armor lines + some other scientific mubo-jumbo from the think tank where hilarius

i am quessing the sink pers. are awesome too, but i only rushed the time and i unlocked only Auto-Doc, but i lawld a hard time when he was sleeping, next time with my Sniper power build i will do the best for good karma endings

surf did you even play the new dlc's yet? you faceplaming me because i laugh at penis jokes and get drunk? (which means i can take a joke and like to have fun unlike someone)

there is good lore in fallout new vegas and the dlc's. yes more then in fallout 3. ( which makes sense fallout is not bethesda thing elder awesome scrolls is) but the dlc's where short boring no real side quest in them just do the main thing and go back to mojave wasteland ..... which is boring. they where good yes i will say that .but i think they could have done 100 percent better.

The level cap being raised makes me jump for joy, no matter how bad the dlc is. Fallout 3 dlc much better but the only raised the cap once, ending at 30. Vegas started at 30,and will end at 50+... whats not to love?

Did you really played them? Because the sentence above gives me doubts.

Compared to NV DLCs, Fo3 DLCs are pure bullshit and nothing else than a linear lootfest.

toke me about 20 - 30 hours to do all of the lame misssions and side quests and fine every rare weapon in the dlcs and that was takeing my time.  if you have played the dlcs you know they are linear they keep you in one area till your done .... fallout 4 you could come and go besides archrorage.

you guys like fnv because its made by the orginal people. i get that but really they did a allright job yes main game is good but dlcs made me waste money, i liked them but did not satisfie me. just my option.

i like New Vegas cuz is much harder than F3, not the hardcore sistem that can be overpassed with perks or just carry some wather with you, but the combat sistem changed

in F3 i can defeat 5 SM with a 10mm pistol, in New Vegas i got problems at geckos

also the deathclaws are changed, i never entered quarry junction even with a level 38 char cuz i will die.

well i play at hard dificulty on both games

and the DLCs in NV have more endings, and you are not forced to go just how it tells you, you can explore and discover other paths, like in HH, you can kill Josua or Daniel and do quests for the white legs, or you can kill you companions in DM in the casino. And in OWB there is an ending based on how much you explored the Big MT and with the sink personality quest that is optional

No. The number of people who worked on NV and also worked on Fo2 or even Fo1 is very low anyway.
