How many times have you gotten pissed of because your busy trading items for caps or caps for items. Doing math in your head when someone walks up behind and steals all your stuff. Or the window closes out. My idea is simple, a button that will put the caps from the merchant or from the player if available in the trade window.  To make trading quicker so the next person can trade. It might be hard to put into the game but i think its possible.

like i see in few *postwar* movies, heroes just put theyr stuff to merchant table, so maybe stuff when u trade with npc cant be available for thiefes.

As tactics have done before, caps should be placed in trade automaticly (eg. if you try to purchase item for 100 caps, it will automaticly put 100 caps if available in your offer, and removes them when you add more to offer so you don't have to remove them manually) this saves quite a lot of time.

Just compare Tactics and Vanilla trading interface.

Thing is that without being limited by 640x480 you can do much better. And honestly FOnline UI haven't been really improved for ages, and is easily the most "lame" part of the game.
