Author Topic: When you "leave" mercs, have it make a dot to go back to them!  (Read 1494 times)

Every time I loose mercs, it's because of some annoying bug. Wouldn't it be simple to have mercs use a radio when their master is gone? Or to just automatically make a DOT when you leave them? This DOT would only last 5-10 min, and after waiting to long, the mercs just wander off and you loose them, but atleast we have a chance to go back and recover them! This way there is no more accidentally "leaving" them forever...

What are you talking about?  If you get into an encounter you can tell your mercs to move to and leave the encounter and they'll automatically go to worldmap with you even though they are not following.

not if you tell them to stay in the chat menu, they will stay and be lost forever if you forget to tell them to follow you again.

aForcefulThrust,
Why would you do that in a random encounter anyways?

Spawn-camping in encounter are we?  :D

It's a useful suggestion whether the person is a camper pk or not, When mercs have to have their own combat timeout it will become a pain in encounters if you try to run because you know your going to lose and your mercs do not follow because they are in combat.

You can't leave slaves unattended, so that really has nothing to do with this.
