Maybe it's kinda offtopic. But not a fan of TB not only for it general sluggishnes, but it's usualy out of balance.
Namely stats don't work that well, things like 1 extra AP is completly gamechanging, where it's scaling on quite linear curve in CTB.
Also considering the advantage people have in TB traps compared to CTB traps, I would really not brag about any exploits you might have done and are proud of.
Yes under certain circumstances like premade scenario where players would be given comparable characters and fair turn rotation it'd more tactical compared to CTB fight of the same scale and settings.
Given more tools and actions than your 1-2 fire models and two skills, difference wouldn't be that grave. And to be really honest right now huge part of game is it's random factor you hardly do anything with.
Critical burst or knockout is simply way too devastating compared to plain shots.
