Caravans take you to citys

in Fallout you could ask caravan leaders to join them, but they allways say no, how aobut if you tell them"can i join you?" you will go to the caravan's next destination?

I used to be a bag of dicks, but then I grew up. I gave many of you guys a hard time, but on the other side I kept myself busy with helping players, and I never gave up on that.

Still, the FOnline community is a thing of it's own class.

it should be implemented as caravans quests in Fallout1
there are caravan offices in each twons  crimson caravan, water merchat caravan and third one i dont recall the name.
U travell with them, different caravan and patches are payed diffrently and also the is danger propotional, during the travel u encounter some enemies and have to defend tohegter with caravans guards. It should be one oh the way to earn money.

"Real caravans" are in plans since looong, looong time - it was said in most of threads about caravans, so it's nothing new.

would make (...) taxi char's useless

I agree with this... who cares if someones fairly unused taxi alt becomes obsolete... new characters who are having a tough time traveling may have a chance at finding a caravan and joining them.  It would make the game less harsh for new players, and would leave it relatively UNCHANGED at late game.

Taxi alts are used for teamwork anyway, how often does anyone see a taxi alt, LOOKING FOR WORK?  Taxi's are usually organized with their own factions or friends, and aren't meant for wandering new wastelanders.

This idea is great, and would really help out the poor retention rate this game has.  If we can keep new players interested, (and this is DEFINITELY one of the ways to do it) than we should!

I don't see how this could be a bad thing at all... New players would still need caps or something to pay for the caravan I'd assume, right?

About taxis...
Caravans are not necessary meant to be quick.
(think about you brahmins trunk)

(The caravans should be unlootable)

there should be some way to hunt those caravans or make traps for them :F not ofcooz with 100% succes rate but with some chances to do so.

The chance to meet them should be considerably reduced.

- Predeterminated path :
It would be 100 trapper (men who trap) on each grid of that path.
