 The idea is simple. High tier stuff (combat armors, avengers, sniper rifles, plasma rifles, AP ammo, ....) could be avaible via crafting/buying/looting few weeks, months after wipe. This could make game era longer, people could test more builds even for not best weapons.  Also if there will exist source of that hight tier stuff, players and gangs would have to investigate the source of this stuff to get advantage over enemies. So it could bring more player vs. player interaction.


 (On ther way, in Hinkley, there could be a bigger spectrum of weapons, bigger than in wasteland.)

I heard the reverse suggestion. To allow only lower weapons and gradually increase tier available. That way to test all the weapons. <--- I like it moar (TCs with shotguns would be epic)

No matter what you implement or do , people will always make builds for best available weapons. Hardly doubt it would be a shotgun.

Agreed, would make it far more fun in the beginning and keep it that way for a while so it isn't immediately ruined by huge uberpownzer gangs who make BAs and Avengers from day 1.
