The Betrayed Man.
« on: May 23, 2011, 12:50:03 am »

*My head... my... eyes are on fire...  god.  It's giving me a headache.  I'm probably gonna die out here, walking in no apparent direction in this fucking hell hole.  I guess it could be worse, I could get my dick shot off and be laughed at as I slowly bleed to death by raiders.  At least this way it's a little more peaceful, calming.  Something that doesn't come cheap in the wasteland.  In this case, it'll probably cost me my life.  Heck it might actually be generous today, and give me a stroke.*

"Why did I listen to him?  I knew it in the back of my head he was trying to get me killed, but...  I just did as I was told.  Followed orders."

*Been walking for hours, settled down by a rock, the scorching sunlight hardly an inch away, I huddled closely in what shade I had.  Figured if I'm gonna die I'm gonna die doing something that isn't in vain  ...  or so I thought*

2 hours later...

*I feel like I'm dead, it's painful.  Moving around.  I could tell I wasn't dead yet though, because I wasn't on fire, what a relief.*

"WAKE UP! COME ON!  IT'S TIME TO GET TO WORK!  WAKE UP YOU USELESS SACKS OF SHIT!"

*Heard a small group giggle, then a noise, sounded like a Bat hitting metal.*  Cling cling cling  *It just kept goin on and on, the yelling as well, then I heard a yelp, like a dog just got kicked in the side.  It scared the shit out of me enough to make me jump up, it was clearly a punishment for not obeying orders...*

*I took a look at my surroundings, it was blurry, but well-lit, it looked decently clean, considering the smell.  It didn't smell awful but it wasn't pleasant either.  There were metal bars on one side, and pure metal walls on the others.  About 10 cots hanging beds, and 20 cots on the floor.*

*As I looked around I saw most of the people in what was obviously a cell lined up, a few others were either still asleep, or at least pretending to be once I took a closer look.   They were all wearing these suits, they were yellow.  They were pretty dirty too.*

*I saw a gaurd walking over towards us, I felt tired and stiff, ultimately like shit, but I still forced myself to stand and get in line before anything bad happened.  I didn't know this place, these people, where I was, and I was in bad shape.  So might as well play along for now.*

*The gaurd looked pretty pissed although he just got done yellin his head off, could just be his blood pressure.  He was a chunky monkey.  Clearly a fatass but he had some muscle under those layers too.  You didnt wanna get in a fight with him unless you had a good bit of space that's for sure.  He had this metal baton, looked pretty standard for police officers back home.  The guys with him had iron at their hips, and held their own batons pretty tightly, but didn't seem too anxious.  They wore these red suits with the number 202 on them.*

*These guys were professional.*

"Erin;  Ken, wake those fools up, we'll need all the workforce for todays haul."

*The two men started walking towards the ones still in their cots.  Erin looked pretty decent, not buff or nothin but he wasn't skinny, he was young and wore glasses.  Ken was really skinny, what muscle he had looked tough though.*

*They both went to the others and gave them light kicks saying "Wake up, it's time to work".  Most would just get up and get in line then, but one or two would stay in the cots, then they'd give em a real kick right in the kidneys.  Then they got up in a hurry, with pained faces.*

*At least these guys aren't fucking psycho.  But still, what's up?*

*The chunky guy came up to me and took a good look.  He then yelled for a Randy to get a cup of water and to take me to the interrogation room.  For a second there I thought I was about to ask a question but then one of the guys beside me pinched me.  I don't know why but I got a feeling whoever it was saved me there... for whatever reason.*

*So I'm taken to this "interrogation" room, on the way there I noticed the structure I was in was made of concrete and some kind of metal.  Once I got to the interrogation room the guy who escorted me here closed the cell and locked it, it wasn't long before the fatass got there.*

*And so the games begin*

Thanks, I don't think I'll ever get around to doing this seeing as it doesn't seem very popular, presenting who this person is and what happend blah blah. So I'll make a summary.  The story so far....   Yeah it's kinda boring, mostly presenting the setting atm.  It'll get good and actiony and all that shit you guys like soon.

Summary:  The man is named Jason Winen.  He was born in part of a huge Enclave controlled Bunker in the middle of the United states Wasteland. (Yeah pretty vague huh?)  As he grew up he had a knack for shooting, so he enlisted in the armed division of the base.  He had however had trouble doing his job.  Killing people.  Generally the Enclave was destroying communities taking over resourced lands.  (Fertile farming areas and otherwise still living)  Intending to eventually settle on this area themselves and rebuild the old United States.  Anyways, Jason couldn't stand being ordered to attack innocent communities, the Enclave never even gave them a chance to leave they just sent in a kill-squad to and burned the place down and killing everything that didn't get away.  Jason was forced to pull the trigger on several occassions generaly at running away villagers when his commanding officer noticed he wasn't shooting.

One day, Jason had enough, he intedned try and sneak away from the fighting and act like he was running after some villagers.  He was caught, tried, and abdicated away from the area under "Enclave" control.  And so the story begins, Jason, driven a bit mad from the dehydration and heat, has developed two personalities, which come up at the same time seemingly.  (usually Jason is nice to everyone, but as you see, he hates "fatasses" and "chunkey" monkies" and as the ending as far right now foreshadowed, he intended to fuck with him.  Which usually he wouldn't do.  And yet he had a heart to not kill random villagers.  Thus you have your two personalities, not very well represented in the story so far.

He also seemed to have tricked himself into believing he was doing his job when he was caught and abdicated, and that his sargeant betrayed him. while he was roaming the wastes as well dehydrated and hot Brain-damaged minroly.
