There is currently a gauss pistol and a shiny new gatling laser hidden somewhere in the wasteland. It may be in an NPCs inventory or just sitting in a box in the NCR workshop.

The gauss pistol has all 25 rounds of 2mm EC and the gatling laser has plenty of MFC.

if it's on an npc in a gaurded town then that is a real dick move.  This means you need a specialized thief alt to get it... which means alot of people prolly wont get to participate even if they find it.

lot of my items still in same place for long time, hidden at ncr city map (burst boom weapon) and i bet gauss hidden better.

Yep something like that wouldn't hurt and what if the gauss pistol is dropped on the ground behind some bush in a city quite impossible to find.

u need check more than 1k possible places for find gauss, so *g* button useless.
