So some moderator locked my post before I could respond for some reason, so I'm posting it again.

What's the point of having all your hard work deleted? You work for all that for nothing? If players have done everything and are bored, why don't they just make another character?
I'm only level 5 and do NOT want to lose everything anytime soon. As in, like 2-3 months.

Everyone feels like that at first, when you realize how easy getting stuff and reaching lvl 21 actually is you'll understand

I'm assuming you've never lived through a wipe, it's the best time in the god damn game where everyone is trying their best to get shit and you'll see pk's running around with shitty guns trying to kill you. Losing shit matters and make the game better because of it.

This is actually the first game I've played that wipes data. I've never felt the need for it, and I still think it's unnecesary. Losing "shit" doesn't matter, it sort of ruins the fun. I don't exactly like not knowing when it's going to happen. It's like waiting for the rapture. It could happen 3 seconds from now. I think it's best to just leave it, and let players keep their hard earned crap. I can handle the loss, but it's easy to lose alot of sensitive players who can't. All the games I've played never had any wipings, and to tell you the truth it was just fine that way, as I have said.

Of course the full game will be released. If it is never going to be released, why is it called Beta? If there will never be a full game, then this IS the full game, and not the beta, no?

"They" said that there will be a 1-week warning before the Wipe.

Hopefully there will be all sorts of Endtimes Events, rains of radtoads, etc.

Of course the full game will be released. If it is never going to be released, why is it called Beta? If there will never be a full game, then this IS the full game, and not the beta, no?

I'm saying there is an endless amount of work to be done before the game can be considered a balanced, complete, and working mmo.

And there are too many reasons to bother listing them, but this is not a bad thing since it's in beta, now if they announced it complete at this stage I would be kinda stumped considering there is no background story, no plot, no nothing, right now its  "Hey you just survived a sandstorm goodluck  ".

Basically, I'm saying I don't see the game being done anytime "soon". (5 - 10 years in my case)

The game updates and progression require wipes at times, which is why certain changes are put off until there is enough worthwhile alterations to justify said wipe.

Personally, I wish we wiped on a semi-regular basis, simply to reclear the game and let things start fresh.  Early wipes are the best of times, this has been proven repeatedly, yet for some reason routine wipes have never happened. (Glaring hint~)
