Remove reload option when gun doesn't need reloading
« on: April 17, 2011, 02:34:55 pm »

Remove reload option when gun doesn't need reloading.

Why?
Less right button clicking.

It wouldn't affect the gameplay much, would it?
Actually, it could not affect the gameplay in any way, just less frustration.

What about an alternative?
Make a shortcut for active weapon reloading, like button "R".

Still, the FOnline community is a thing of it's own class.

In original Fallout there was no such option when magazine was full, but was there if you had no spare ammo.

And in FOnline the reload option shows up always...

Agreed, it just a small nuisance, but its still annoying.

Finally. Just finally, an intelligent person. Just because the annoyance is "small", doesn't mean devs need to completely and utterly ignore it. I think that there should be Game Masters in game preventing exploitations, but any thread about that will be FLOODED by trolls saying "police officer newb lawlz get over it newb sauce" and such. I think any and all unneccesary annoyances, big or small, should be removed, thus further improving the game.

On topic, I agree. Running out of ammo in a real time fight is ridiculous. It should be a matter of skill, not a matter of who shoots first and wins the head start.

It already does not make any sense that you can reload your gun twice faster than you can shoot with it.

got a point there buddy, got a point there!

But yes some reload shortcut would be nice. I hate it when you click 1 time too much or use the "N" key 1 time too much...
