How to become a ghoul?

I saw a ghoul walking around and it was a PC!!! how do i become one?

cripple both legs, wear leather armour or leather armour mk2 and hold a spear/rifle/shotgun whilst walking around in town. Closest you can get by roleplaying a person undergoing the transformation to ghoulkind  ;D.

Anyway the character model for that player got changed by a gm. Now don't go pestering them to do this for you just because they have done it for that player you saw. Most likely it was done when they were bored and decided to interact with players in game and you cannot assume this to be the case everytime they are on.

Also if you use the search function there will probably be a few or quite a few threads about the topic (or at least similar) and the answer has pretty much always been NO!

I saw a ghoul too... He told all the newbs that you just have to stand around the Glow for awhile and get irradiated enough. Then a few of them wandered off.....
