Selecting your own gang names

Can I change my vote? This would indeed happen and would obviously be a major pain.

I'd say no. I've been in a couple of "gangs" and created some of them. While it was cool to see some name I've chosen from some list or even if I'd be free to type in my own, it'd still not feel like Fallout*. I remember when we started to play at the beginning of the beta and there were lengthy discussions which name we should take. Only names in question were "Fargotraders" and such, as everything else feels out of place. I may be in a minority (you asked from a players perspective, Solar), but I neither want to spend my day deleting "PwNz0rgangXY1398198", "OMGILUVHITLER!11#1787", "It'sfineasitisclub252" or see similar names on the gamescreen.
*Especially when each random wasteland gang can gank whole cities like NCR which is supposed to be approx. tenfold the size. ::)

With mentals which will take these names, like "pwnzors" and similar its bad yeah. Someone must handle them.
But people from bigger and little bit older gangs will take normal names.
And yeah. If someone will make some stupid name then just erase his base. He should know that if he take stupid name, he will be hardly punished(-130k and etc)

IMHO pWnz0rz gang name is prety cool. And i would really rofl when i would see Pwnz0rz are taking Klamath. xD Char names can be made and player char names usuallu are not so silly like u are afraid. I belive that mayor gangs would preserve their standard names and maybe personal gangs for one persons alts would have silli names
