Well I've heard that the wipe will happen when Fallout 2's starting date comes, which is July 25 2241. The date in FO 2238 is currently April 4 2241, leaving about 113 days until F2's date.

Now if we start with the time it takes for 1 FO minute, about 4 seconds, and multiple it by 60 for an hour

60x4=240

So about 4 minutes for a FO hour, now we take that and multiply by 24 hours

4x24=96

So about 96 minutes for a FO day, now we multiply that by the days until F2's starting date

96x113=10848

10848 Minutes divided by 60 for convenience

10848/60=180.8

That is around 180 real hours, now divide by 24 for more convenience

180.8/24=7.5333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333

So If it is true that FO will be wiped on F2's starting date, the wipe will happen around 7 and half days from the moment of this post.

yes they can just be bored by the game

Hmm.. When I'm bored by FO i just make few days break. It's the best medicine Now wipe really isn't needed. Powergamers have already their 21 level characters made within 3 days, normal people have now 15-16 level and still aren't bored. So, i don't think most of the people want the wipe now. It should be done in situation when certain and important changes of engine are to be involved.

You think community is now horrible? Trust me, its better than it used to be and I see no reason why wipe should make it any better.

You should visit Klamath or the Den, we help people as much as possible and are trying to give life to those cities. Some other gangs are about to do the same in other northern towns.
