Why cant I find any player in wasteland

I see people every day in my encounter options window, often several times.
Once every other week someone drops in on me.
(I leave very quickly except when hunting, which I do away from main lines of movement. This is probably why few people get a chance to drop in on me.)
LagMaster:
depends on your time zone and ODM, the lower the ODM the higher the change to encounter
but somethimes player encounters are not good
places to avoid player encounters:
-near guarded towns
-near TC places when friendly aliances are ocupi-ing town
-from respawn points to guarded towns
Imprezobus:
I have never met anyone this season, made 6 character. During that peroid I had about 5 situations when someone entered my encounter.

Maybe you just don't know where to look, or when to look.
I can tell you right now that I have no problem whatsoever finding PK'ers or wastelanders in general, on a daily basis.
I'd be seriously surprised if I didn't run into any players in some specific squares.
Use your heads to work out which sectors are popular traffic zones.
Also, you cannot encounter a wastelander if he isn't already in an encounter himself.
Tip: Look at "bottleneck" zones like near SF.
I wouldn't go there looking for a fight without an 18AP build tho :)
