I'm trying to make a crit throwing knives char, SPECIAL look like this :

S 5
P 6
E 8
C 1
I 6
A 8
L 7

Small frame
Finesse


About Perks : 3* More crit / better crit for sure.


What do you think about it ?

Im not so experienced with throw build, but i would take 1 away from luck and add to AG.
7 Luck is as good as 6, but 9 AG you can easily boost with a cheap nuka cola, and get 1 more Action point.

Or he can make 3 ST and 10 AG and use buffout+nuka, additional 2 EN will give little boost against crits and he won't remove an additional LK.
Damned throwing knives requiring more perks if you have low ST and it's... bad. ;p

Also Throwing Knives requiring only 3 ST to operate properly and 5 for throwing on 15 hexes.
1 ST +buffout +Heave Ho = 5 ST for throwing, and 3 ST for weapon handling, so it's ok.
This way 1 ST will give you 4 SPECIAL.
+2 AG and +2 LK.
So you'll use buffout, nuka and also may use cigs as boost to PE without penalties.
So you'll have:

On buffout and nuka 3 ST 10 EN with no AG penalty. 9 LK isn't useless like most of people say as "it's 6 or 10 LK", 9 LK only a bit worse than 10 and on practice you won't notice difference ;p

Bad side of this build: drugs and -1 perk for Heave Ho.
x3 MC + BC + Heave Ho = 5 perks. -1 perk on 3rd level, so only 1 perk left: of couse LG. But you also need BRoF, so you may remove x1 MC.

These are interresting suggestions

I don't really want to use drugs like buffout i would probably use nuka cola and cigs but nothing like jet, psycho or buffout ...
So i will think more about the Heavy Ho! Perk and maybe an additional point to AG which can be usefull if i use nuka cola

Now what do you think about the Throwing skill should i raise it to 180% or more because i only do aimed shot ?

And since I wouldn't want to use many drugs, I would definetly play this:

Only nuka cola required. Additionaly cigarettes for more tohit, which you probably won't need anyway.
You end up with 200 hp, 10 action points - 2 eyehits, 75% critical chance each.

For resistance against crits, I didn't notice a big resistance between my 10 EN melee build and my 6 EN sniper. On both cripplers get me knocked down/out very easly. So I would say 6 EN instead. 8 is just a waste for me, better to take second lifegiver.

Your build seems very good but i planned to do a crit based character, so must take 3* more crit and better crit ...
What do you think about finesse should i take it or not ?

Believe me, 75% is certainly enough for a crit-based build, and it's 2 throws in a turn, so the chance for critting at least once gets even bigger.
About finesse, I wouldn't take it because that would waste the Throwing Knifes potential. They are very powerful in terms of damage, and dropping 30% of it is pretty much a loss. Armor bypasses don't happen always also.

I have a question about Heavy Ho And Weapon Handling :

If i put 2 stength to my throwing char and i take weapon handling, will i throw knives to 15hex without any penalities ?

What about Heavy Ho ? Is it the same but with 2 stength instead of 3 with Wepaon handling ?

Weapon Handling won't give to you ST for throwing. I have 1 ST and WH, and I can throw spear and rocks only on 3 hexes.
WH only affects ST requirements to operate weapon with no penalties, that's why throwing weapon with low ST requires alot perks or other alternative, than other weapons.
Throwing knife ST requirement is 3. It means with 1 ST you'll have (3-1)*20%=40% penalty to hit.
Weapon handling will make your ST 1+3=4, so you won't have penalty to hit.
But you still have 1 ST and will throw knives only on 3 hexes.
You need 5 ST or 3+Heave Ho or 1+x2 Heave Ho or 1+Buffout+Heave Ho to throw knives on 15 hexes.
