The plea for donations at the game's start up got me thinking that we need to incentivize donating money to Fallout 2238. My suggestion is that we reward players, who donate their hard earned money to the upkeep of this site, with in game items. We could have a chart that says for X amount of money donated you get _____. The items given out to those who donate can be brand new items or items that are still unobtainable like Power Armor. Now I know this will affect the balance of the game but if anything it will encourage other people to donate and get their own awesome items. The people who actually support this site should get something for their sacrifice.
If new content wouldn't violate any legal issues that would be the way to go. Then it's a matter of walking the line between rewarding and overpowering.New Player skins and other customizations would be awesome. Maybe the ability to create a clan logo and tag it on buildings.
Note: I hate micro payment giving advantage IG and unbalancing it. It's really very bad thing. If it should happen (and it will never) it should be RP things without any gameplay effect
Ffs, its been said a thousand times way back when, its not happening. Our gift is that the game is still up and Devs are still working.
Game content can't be bought at 2238, or Beth will incite its lawyer hounds upon the Rotators. If it weren't a mod, but original content game, then the devs could earn money with it.
