I think people takes this too serious (I can talk as expert, because i still got this same feeling with me..)
Once you done something wrong then you never get even change to do anything with other players and they do things like
a) bomber/suicide killing you at NCR (Nakkikastike you always remember me )
b) don't let you join factions (Like BlindMaster me refused too many times and i stopped being as "runboy93" help bit)
c) You cannot use IRC to freely talk as normal players do (because i got feeling that everyone hate me, but they don't say it)

So people can you bit relax that other players can do something that they like?
Like me now. I like to be inside faction and show what i made off (i got many successful times on factions, but cover names)

Well, letting someone join you when you go around world map looting or letting you in the faction base is already an act of faith, because many will try to back stab you, when we already know a player has "history" it just saves us the trouble of the act of faith, we will just deny him.

It's the thing with first impressions, you only get one (per char at least..)
