it wasnt bypassed, i came back with crappy mercs and they killed them all instantly

Sniper rifle also has 3x's its range, considering the sniper only has a -4 and -6 on low-high dmg difference i don't see what the problem is.

exactly, it has 16 range, you can't craft in bulk (like 5x at a time like with molotovs or grenades) if you remove the damage then you're causing a problem that we already have, useless stuff like gatlin

I've nailed people in the eyes with a .44 revolver for 70-100 points of damage easily, take a sniper rifle or a .223 pistol and a build that can use it and you'll have your entire body blown to pieces in two shots.

Throwing knives require a special build to crit with, and aren't that great. leave them alone.
