Brahmin

I see people talking about these little beasts as if they are easy to find. I've been pressing the good ol' green arrow down on random parts of the wastes for hours now - no Brahmin.

Am I doing something incorrectly?

So you mean I should just run around for the Encounter box thing to pop up and/or the red lightening bolt?

Yes, and use this to help you: http://www.nitue.net/fef/

@ 2nd below comment: Brahmin are easier to kill in real-time because they run slower than you can run.

Alright, thank you.
Now a man can wish for less and less random Raider encounters.  ;D

Also, travel to your hunting spot in real time combat and then hunt in turn based. You can run away from enemies ALOT easier in turn based than in real time. This will save you the trouble with those raiders :P

hang on i dont think i read this right. travel to spot in real time so you can run away from enemies in turnbased but if you have realtime+tb checked then forced encounters are real time which means RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!!

i have tried to level one but grew impatient very quickly.

i was told you can only level one you buy from an npc but i've let it finish off many marauders to no avail.

I remember before wipe brahmins ranged from 30 hp to like 60 hp. It depended on the location where they were tamed. It was kinda cool.
