The Minor Suggestions 1: Year
« on: January 24, 2011, 02:04:25 am »

I suggest to lock the ingame year to 2238. It's currently 224X or something. Fallout 2 is already done. Enclave is gone. Arroyo is saved etc.

Just.. lock the year. Nobody will notice.

I will.  :P

besides, I like thinkin that the enclave still around are just remnants like master's army, its not that big a deal.

I like how time seems to progress, even with the unusual paradox of years going backward instantly  ;D.

Not bad idea, Khan. Many people haven't even noticed that Chosen One already saved us all from being killed by FEV 2. Soon, our characters will live longer than ghouls. So locking the year or finding compromise between travelling speed and game time would be such a great idea.

As there is no background story, year is not really an issue. I understand there IS some kind background story, although not entirely developed. And I think 2238 story will not follow canon completely, so Enclave, Master, whatever, might still be around.

I don't know, if the story is good, I don't care we don't follow canon. I mean, if you wanna be strict, Fallout canon is just Fallout 1, and it seems there are some minor contradictions between F1 and F2 which I cannot remember now.

Yeah :D
Enclave aka "Project W.I.P.E"
I love that idea that end of season enclave destroy everything and time started again.

Fallout 2 is already done.

You are wrong, Fallout 2 never happened. The Chosen One was killed in Klamath by some trololo non-English-speaking gang.
Just think about FOnline as an alternative history.

Hmm..
Chosen One don't even exist in 2238 so why anyone can kill Chosen One?
Heh thats why we need "Chosen One appears" special encounter

And one thing... No one can stop Chosen One! I believe in him!
Too much One Piece for yesterday...
