ap in hinkley with brdx2 gets me 50 damage against CA which is pretty pathetic. Also it should have higher damage as tier 3 than a tier 2 gun.

All burst weapons do 3 times the damage at 1 hex than they do at any 2 hexes because the bullets divide into 3 parallel paths. In rt its just not realistic that you can get 1 hex away for the same reasons melee doesn't work,they'd have to stand still for the duration of you running up to them and the burst animation to play. They pretty much have to be afk to pull this off..

At a 4 AP Burst, which compares to an Avenger or LSW's 6 AP.

p90c damage comes to ~50, LSW comes to ~75 and Avenger comes to ~90.

Adjust for AP and you see p90c is approx = LSW and the Avenger is +20% or so, but the Avenger is at least +20% compared to anything, despite what some (incorrect) people will tell you.


TL:DR - p90c is fine.

just make every weapon instant kill at all range and the my fav weapon needs a boost whiners will disappear . this game is 95% about killing so why not to speed up the process =)

so endgame sg is supposed to be that weak? Everything else got a buff. Hell even with 2 shots that's half 1 persons hp or less in 5 seconds, that shit doesn't fly in rt. Guess I'll have to reroll an avenger build.

If by "so weak" you mean pretty much second only to the Avenger, then yes. Avenger will always be the top DPS weapon, so if thats all that concearns you ... use the Avenger.

I mean weak in that in the first ap round I do max 100 damage then get killed, where avenger I can do 200 because you're lucky to get off one shot before getting raped by plasma aim bots. Also the smg has a slow animation and I find myself clicking first and still getting killed without firing, probably a lag issue though.

Well, presume 12 AP and p90c does ~150, Avenger does ~180

180/150 = 1.2

In TB maybe that would be the case, but since this is an rt build im not going for 12 ap. Rt is pretty much a case of whoever does the most damage in the least amount of shots wins.

OK then, presume 10 AP. p90c shoots twice, Avenger shoots once - 100 vs 90 and p90c does better damage.
