Love how this thead went offtopic in less than a page.

It isn't off-topic at all....  what the hell are you talking about?

There have been a good bunch of posts deleted.

I think you start to get away from the main subject.

Heh.

This thread has gone offtopic because its original post is not about gridcamping but about allowing players to try to take over a guarded location without GMs punishing them.

And your post doesn't add anything more than previous posts.

Hope this post explained what the previous one was adding.

Read the thread in my sig, "no pvp zones" Scares too many people.  And it seems that if it really is gonna be ok that guarded towns can be taken by players, that's gonna just about kill what's left of the games population.  The people who come to town to avoid that crap will get annoyed and leave, the players who go there to kill people wont have any to kill and will get annoyed and leave.  It really won't be long after wipe that one or two major gangs will just sit in towns blowing away people for lulz cause they're bored again.  And really once that starts getting another group strong enough to fight them is a joke because of how much more difficult it is for lower lvls to do anything.

(and an RP side note on NCR) The town that is the Strongest in the western wastes, with it's own Army, and at this time still allied with BoS, wouldn't stand for a group in town like that, the army would walk into town, with PA paladins and smoke the place.

This reminds me GTA.
We could have some step to step reinforcement... One wave every 5 minutes, after 10 regular forces are dead.
I mean we could have 5 waves of reiforcement.
1 Backup weaker than the regular forces some melee not used to fight (15)
2 Regular Forces, with leather, metal armor and 1&2 class weapons (20)
3 Strong forces, with combat armor and 3 class weapons (15)
4 Elite Forces, with Power armor, 3 class and rare weapons (like gauss, Gatling, HKGE11) (10)
5 An army gathering all other waves (15+20+15+10=60)
Then
1 again, 2 again, etc...
Guards unlootable and no rewards...

so if we find a way for killing people in ncr we get airstrike or jail ?

Exception obviously is, if guard / ai abuse is in progress.

I will add that after that we tried to talk with this GM on IRC, he wasn't responding our questions and was trolling us without any explaination about why he done this.

What exatly was abused and why he failed to tell us a reason?

There was but GM air-striked the last wave of them we were going to fight and put all of us on the ground, then he asked us to leave the mine.

IMO gridcamping involve killing players who spawn before they even see what's going on, which is obviously an exploit. We didn't kill any player who came in mine, our purpose wasn't to exploit a bug to kill poor bluesuits or whoever else who come mining, so we didn't gridcamping (i know you are just trolling but i felt like answering your stupid post).

Yes so to avoid gridcamping, i should wait to be shot before I shoot appearing people. That way I know they loaded before I shoot them. This way I am not exploiting  ::) The GM probably assumed you guys were going to start shooting people that entered the mine, thus "gridcamping", because people spawn in the middle of the map there and it's impossible not to gridcamp.

I'm just pointing out there is a serious problem here that really needs to be fixed before there is a wipe.

Why has no word from a Dev in charge of these GMs told us anything yet?  :-\

This was clear GM abuse.

@above:   no way Manero the biggest question on the board is who has the biggest E-dick.
