NPC gunshot reaction and militia orders

What I mean is, when someone fires a gun in a building, the guards outside should be alerted and move to the location. In Broken Hills, I just sold ore to the general store woman and some guy walks in, door open, and kills me. There were maybe 10 militia men right outside.

I SUGGEST gangs be able to give militia orders to shoot all who shoot other players.

Come on, bring on the SUGGESTIONS. WE need more orders to give to militia.

But militia is not there to "Protect and Serve". ;D They are there to help controling gang to kill anyone they wish.
You were probably thinking that they work the same way as guards in NCR which is not true.

No, let ME clarify. Militia are there to kill any *** hole who thinks he can fire a gun in a gang controlled town. What pansy gang lets someone walk through their town thinking he's a big shot? Militia are placed in town to defend the town and, thus, make the town a place people trust and will gather at, increasing net profit in that town. When you have a maniac killing off other players, that centralizes profit towards that player and hinders the gang.

Militia are placed in town to defend the town and, thus, make the town a place people trust and will gather at, increasing net profit in that town. When you have a maniac killing off other players, that centralizes profit towards that player and hinders the gang.
Oh sorry, my mistake. I thought that this was bug section and you were just new to this militia system.
I think your suggestion was here not a long time ago. As one part of that suggestion was removing militia completely.

Cool story bro, but Im sorry to inform you that militia acts not even close to that and most of the gangs just dont care. Their town, their rules

Ehm, search function ? It was discussed over and over. Its not a good idea to grief in suggestions - you were killed there and now you want to change it. Its unguarded city, get it ?

No, no I don't get it. Ungaurded cities get taken over by gun toting gangs and militia kill them, but militia don't kill average joe maniac blue suit?

One can only guess whats the purpose of militia according to devs. With common sense it would be more rational if the militia didn't tolerate murderous actions from anyone. The players who control the town have taken over it so that they can defend its inhabitant. But why would the town allow murdering of travelling merchants who could bring prosperity to the town? No one can have anything against free trade right? In addition normal humans or ghouls don't enjoy watching other people being shot on sight. It's intimidating, loud and distressing. Imagine if there was a police in your country who shot every foreign person they saw.

But that's enough for common sense. I understand if town conquerors don't want every player to come freely in their town and rob the merchants from everything useful and replace them with junk items. But honestly, backora and Sarakin you don't have much credible to say why the militia shouldn't intervene in the wrongdoings of the defenders.

If it was up to me, Id make remaining towns more or less guarded like someone already suggested ( Beerko ? ). We would still have 2 cities without militia + domination areas. Anyway avv, Im not against that feature, but majority of players (PKs) wouldnt welcome this suggestion, they want to have freedom in cities

Of course the crazies would have their freedom. There are plenty of alleys and areas where militia or guards aren't present and would likely not hear a gunshot(I don't want psychic guards, they should have a reasonable range of hearing shots). PLUS, this opens the way for great muggers who can kill with melee(soundless).

This would CLEAR the problem of lone, crazy blue suits who kill every guy on sight. BE REALISTIC, how long do you think someone acting like that would last in the wastes?
